Les Roses Pourpres is a bouquet caught somewhere between bloom and dream. Reds, pinks and violet buds lean out of a clear glass vase while the magenta and purple background swirls behind them like smoke. The roses aren’t quite still. That’s how I remember flowers, more feeling than form.
Medium: oil on canvas
Size: 16 × 20 in
Unframed (frame not included)
Signed lower right
One-of-a-kind original
